The new Rise Above 88 is the most versatile ski in the new ski touring range, thanks to its strength both on the ascent and on the descent. The Hybrid Tourlite wood core offers an impressive combination of minimal weight (1190 g @ 170) and skiing stability. The 3D Radius sidecut offers a very durable tip that is particularly useful when skiing in windy snow conditions. The sidecut construction offers agility and maneuverability in tight passages. The narrower pad under the boot, combined with moderate shaping in the tip and tail areas, allows you to maintain control and requires less effort when changing direction even when hiking with heavy loads.
The Rise Above 88 also features Völkl's new Smart Skinclip which is available with Fiber Tech and Smart Glue skins
